Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, utilizing the Easy Jobs software, or accessing the Easy Jobs technician mobile app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Account Security & Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Tenant administrators are responsible for the management, addition, and deactivation of user accounts within their organization.
  • You agree to use the software solely for its intended business purposes and refrain from attempting to bypass system security measures.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

Easy Jobs is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at signup), in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with the Cancellation section below.
  • We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Where a price change affects an existing subscriber, we will provide at least 30 days' written notice (via email or in-app notice) before the new price takes effect on your next billing cycle. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
  • Plan tiers (e.g. Job Card Tracking only, Invoicing only, or the combined offering) determine which modules are enabled for your tenant, and fees are calculated accordingly. Changing your plan tier may change your billing amount from the next billing cycle.
  • Upgrading to a plan with more features takes effect immediately upon payment. Downgrading to a plan with fewer features does not take effect immediately: if you request a downgrade during a period you have already paid for, you retain full access to your current plan's features for the remainder of that billing period. The downgrade, and any resulting restriction in access, takes effect only when your next billing cycle begins.

4. Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed through PayFast (Pty) Ltd, a licensed South African payment gateway. We do not store your full card or bank account details on our servers; these are handled directly by PayFast in accordance with their own security standards and terms of service, available at their website.

  • You authorise us to charge your selected payment method (card or other method supported by PayFast) for all recurring subscription fees until your subscription is cancelled.
  • If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. Continued failure to process payment may result in suspension of access to your account, as described below.
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment details up to date.

5. Failed Payments & Service Suspension

If a subscription payment cannot be successfully processed after reasonable attempts and notice to you:

  • We may suspend access to your Easy Jobs account and its modules until payment is resolved.
  • Your data will be retained (not deleted) for a minimum of 30 days following suspension, to allow you to resolve payment and regain access.
  • If payment remains outstanding beyond that period, we reserve the right to further restrict or terminate the account, subject to the data retention and deletion provisions of our Privacy Policy.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings, or by written request to our Information Officer. Cancellation takes effect as follows:

  • Cancellation stops future billing from your next scheduled billing date. It does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period already paid for, except as described under Refunds below.
  • You will retain access to your account and data for the remainder of the period already paid for.
  • After cancellation takes effect, we will retain your data for a reasonable period (see our Privacy Policy) to allow you to request an export, after which it may be permanently deleted.

7. Refunds

Except as required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. In particular:

  • No partial refunds are given for unused time remaining in a monthly billing period following cancellation.
  • No refunds are given for failure to use the service during a paid period.
  • Annual Plan Cooling-Off: if you are on an annual subscription and cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused portion. Cancellations after 14 days are not eligible for a refund, but your access continues for the remainder of the paid annual term.
  • Billing Errors: if you believe you have been charged incorrectly (e.g. a duplicate charge), contact us within 30 days of the charge. Where a genuine billing error is confirmed, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
  • Refunds may also be considered, at our discretion, in the case of a service outage materially preventing use of paid functionality for a sustained period.

8. Intellectual Property

The Easy Jobs software, website design, branding, and content are the intellectual property of Sieben Management Consultants. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our software or website without explicit written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to ensure the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and system uptime, Sieben Management Consultants, its directors, and staff shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data sustained through the use of our software, to the maximum extent permitted by South African law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
